IT all begins with vehicle tint training. Jet Black Tint is proud to be the starting point for aspiring tint technicians in Northern California and Texas. Our all-encompassing tint schools located in San Francisco and Houston teach students everything they need to know about auto window tint in a packed 4-day program. Our tint school provides instruction and hands-on practice with all types of tint, tint laws, tint application, removal, repair, and maintenance. We teach students how to troubleshoot tint issues, correct shoddy installation jobs completed by sub-par shops, and apply tint like an artist. Very little of our tint school takes place inside the classroom, instead, we offer maximal hands-on training on actual vehicle windows in our practice shops. Once tint school is complete, Jet Black Tint alumni receive job offers and placement within one of our 13 Bay Area and Katy, Texas locations. Once hired, they receive ongoing mentoring and support on the job from our experienced shop tint experts. More oversight is offered at the beginning of employment and will gradually wean as technicians become more confident in their newly acquired skills. Graduates have continued access to private online forums where they ask questions and review actual scenarios with fellow tint school classmates and instructors for real-time feedback. Our tint school graduates, and all shop employees, work with master technicians who encourage and facilitate their continued growth, skill development, and autonomy.
