The most popular color of car remains white, with almost 40% of vehicles with that color. Black, gray, and silver make up another 40% of the car colors you will see on the roads. Our eyes become accustomed to seeing only those cars, which means that when a car of a different color, especially one that boasts a beautiful pattern with great colors, rolls down the road, we take notice. Brightly colored vehicles scream for our attention, so when your car with an exquisite custom car wrap drives by, heads will turn — which, as a business owner, is what you want. Let Jet Black Tint take that vision and turn it into a reality. Call for more information today!
If you’ve ever gotten an estimate to paint your car, odds were, it was a lot more than you had expected. This is because multiple layers of paint are often required in order for it to look good, especially if you are painting over a dark color. With a car wrap, all it takes is one layer put on top of your car’s paint, and that’s it. You are basically putting on a top layer of skin with car wraps. You can also choose to wrap just a portion of your car, which can save you some money as well. The installation of custom car wraps are also super quick (much faster than a car paint job), which saves you time, hassle, and money, too.
Vehicle wraps are pretty easy to maintain. As long as you have your car wrap professionally installed, such as by Jet Black Tint at one of our 12+ locations in the Bay Area, and you maintain it, a car wrap can last from four to seven years or so. After about five years, you may notice your car wrap fading, especially if it is left out in the sun rather than parked in your garage. However, this is normal, and it should never have bubbles, creases, or lifting anywhere at any time. Plus, if you do get a scratch, you can quickly fill it with a car wrap material and prevent it from getting any worse.
Since vehicle wraps go over the top of your car’s original paint, you are, in essence, forming a shield around that original layer and color. This shield keeps out the elements, pollutants in the air, and wards off rocks that can cause dings and scratches. Car wraps also protect against normal wear and tear, too. A custom car wrap is not invincible. If someone backs into your car, your car’s wrap is not a forcefield, able to have the car bounce off with no ill effect. Vehicle wraps are quite effective against road debris, pet scratches, accidental bumpings, bike racks, tools, and flying rocks, but not against huge moving pieces of steel.
Car wrapping uses multiple smaller pieces, rather than a large piece of ceramic wrapping for your car. Thus, the colors, patterns, aesthetics, and the placement of all of these colors are all customizable, meaning you can have a unique, one-of-a-kind-car quite easily. Nowadays, there are car wraps that can change color as the light changes intensity. Some vinyl wrappings are made to look like other types of material, such as stainless steel or leather. Further, there are many different types of finishes, such as gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or matte. When combined, you have thousands of possibilities. Jet Black Tint offers over 1,000 colors for you to pick from, making your Bay-Area car truly yours. Call to learn more today!
